ICP Spotlights 2013: Fashion in Photography

Building on the success of last year's inaugural luncheon, the theme of ICP Spotlights in 2013 was Fashion in Photography. The event explored the world of fashion photography including fashion and identity, gender issues, and new technology.
ICP was thrilled to partner with W Magazine on this year's event; W is on the cutting edge of fashion photography and its expertise brought a unique perspective to the afternoon.
The panel included ICP Curator Carol Squiers, W Editor in Chief and ICP Trustee Stefano Tonchi, stylist and former Vogue Fashion Editor Polly Mellen and photographers Mario Sorrenti and Collier Schorr.
More than 240 guests attended the event, and a silent auction with fantastic packages—including exclusive studio visits and rare photo prints—raised funds to benefit ICP’s exhibition and education programs.
